To produce his graphic works, Bukovnik collaborates with Trillium Graphics, whose owner and master printer, David Salgado, studied at the Tamarind Workshop, formerly in LA. Among the artists who have printed with Trillium are Jospeh Raffael, Mark Adams, Beth Hoesen, Nathan Oiveria, and Paul Wonner.
Solo exhibitions include Concept Art Gallery, Pittsburgh; Erickson and Elings Gallery, San Francisco; Irving Galleries, Palm Beach; Galerie Kutter, Luxembourg; Chin Show Cultural Center, Taipei; Takashimaya, Tokyo; the Memphis Botanic Garden; Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Pittsburgh; and the Brevard Museum of Art, Melbourne, FL.
Bukovnik’s work is represented in diverse public and private collections, such as the Brooklyn Museum; the Chicago Museum of Art; the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC; The Fine Arts Museums, San Francisco; Bank of America; AT&T; Neiman-Marcus; and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, LA. Bukovnik also donates his art to community and civic organizations such as Project Open Hand and the San Francisco Symphony, which since 1982 has commissioned a poster announcing its fall season. THe New York Metropolitan Opera also commissioned him to create a poster for its 1990-91 season
